End of COVID-19 pause

It has been four months since our last post; dealing with climate change and the energy challenge has had to pause in view of what has happened around the world. We hope that you and your loved ones have stayed safe in these times.

COVID-19 has highlighted how there are several problems that need solving to continue improving the lives of the people around the world. Climate change and the need for clean electricity remain two of the most crucial ones.

We have been busy readying Fusion Reactors to launch operations and we are announcing the start of raising funds for our seed round. These funds will pay for the first part of our operations and allow Fusion Reactors to take a decisive step in solving the issue of decarbonisation in the power sector.

We are asking for your help. Ways you can help will be suggested in the next post (one way is by spreading the word about us).

I will end this post with two quotes, one each from two of the most pre-eminent scientists in history, Lord Kelvin and Professor (Albert) Einstein.

In 1895, Lord Kelvin stated that “heavier-than-air flying machines are impossible” (the Wright brothers’ first flight was in 1903).

In 1934, Professor Einstein state that “There is not the slightest indication that [nuclear energy] will ever be obtainable” (the Chicago Pile-1 was “initiated” in 1942).
